Thu., Sep 09, 1915   Shorncliffe

 

Regiment paraded for Entrenching practice,

 

Details were instructed in Bayonnet fighting

12 Noon

At noon of this date the Regiment were paraded & marched. to St John Moors Plain to exchange Rifles with the Infanty who had the 1915 pattern. magazine. Web  equipment was issued to men, who had not already receive same.

 

Lecture to Officers of the 1st  C.M.R. Brigade on “Standing Orders” to Officers

 

Machine Gun section attended lecture, given by Captain W. W. Foster in Bombing & Trench fighting

 

Identy discs issued and adjusted
