14th September 1915: Diary

Tue., Sep 14, 1915 SHORNCLIFFE

8 a.m. The Brigade paraded under Lt. Col Sissons.  Full marching order.  1st and 2nd Line. Transport forming up in two lines in rear of units.
Lt. General Steel inspected Troops er.
  Training of horses by Transport Drivers.   Route march on the Canterbury Road
  Bathing, Medical, Pay Parades.  Inspection of Rifles.
  Lieut Edwards appointed on Committee, to report upon Packs, & list [hist?] manner of carrying same.
  Laudatory Letter received by Brigade & published in Regimental Orders re. The Kings message for the General Officer Commanding complimenting Canadian Troops
